Under The African Sunset
This Summer 23/24 season the SHWESHWEKINI collection plays around with eclectic prints still inspired by the #Basotho culture and #Shweshwe prints to celebrate life under the African Sun. It draws inspiration from the sunset's vibrant colours and the people who co-construct the meaning making process of what it means to be African, to be in Africa and to be part of growing and developing the African Continent.
MOKOROTLO COLLECTION
Each ShweShweKini piece has a Sesotho name with a meaning attached to it, which is a way of educating people about the Sotho culture.
